Born in Cesena in 1989, I began my journey into music at the age of 5 by attending an introductory music course, followed by three years of piano studies at the Corelli Music Institute in Cesena under the guidance of E. Indellicati. After a pre-adolescent “Sabbathical” break, I picked up my first electric bass at 15, discovering a deep love for low frequencies and everything orbiting around them.
From the beginning, I committed to studying the instrument seriously, first with S. Casali and later with G. Terenziani from Reggio Emilia. In the following years, I attended the Lizard Music Academy in Fiesole, where I graduated with top marks (30/30) under the mentorship of F. Gori. I then enrolled in the Jazz program at the Martini Conservatory in Bologna with P. Ghetti, completing my studies—after a mid-program transfer to the Buzzolla Conservatory in Adria—with a degree in Jazz Electric Bass, graduating with full marks (110/110).
Afterward, I continued studying with renowned musicians F. Malaman and S. Paolini. Throughout these years, I had the opportunity to further deepen my knowledge by attending clinics with many prominent artists, including Victor Wooten, Billy Sheehan, Hadrien Feraud, Alain Caron, Michael Manring, Gary Willis, Jeff Berlin, Stu Hamm, Jimmy Haslip, Frank Gambale, Peter Wildoer, and many others.
I have always been involved in a wide variety of musical projects, spanning genres from rock-metal-prog to funk-dance-soul, swing-bossa-latin, and pop-ska-punk. The more diverse the music, the more I enjoy it! These collaborations have led me to perform in numerous settings throughout Italy, from pubs to public squares, clubs to private events, and even on television. Notably, I appeared on the Tezenis Music Festival, Amici on Canale 5, and the Rai 1 Music Awards, where I performed with artist Greta under Carosello Records.
Alongside my live performance work, since 2006 I’ve pursued my greatest passion: music education. I have worked as an electric bass, theory, and harmony instructor—first for four years at Lizard in Forlì, then another four at Musicantiere in Riccione, and since 2009, at Rock House in Cesena.
